A tasty twist on the classic childhood marshmallow/cereal bars, these cornflake wreaths are a festive holiday ‘cookie’. This recipe is easily halved.

Serves: 40-50 wreaths
Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 7 c corn flakes
  • 60 large marshmallows
  • 3 t green food coloring (give or take to get the green color you want)
  • Red cinnamon candies
Instructions
  1. Melt butter and marshmallows in a large microwavable bowl. Start with 1 minute and then 30 second intervals, stirring in between until it’s smooth.
  2. Add vanilla and food coloring and stir until well blended.
  3. Fold in corn flakes until completely covered.
  4. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto waxed paper. Shape into 2 inch wreaths. Decorate with cinnamon candies.
  5. Store covered with layers of waxed paper in between.
