Method
- Mix together the milk, half and half, eggs, and vanilla in a rectangular dish.
- Split the bagels and soak them in the custard mixture for about 10 minutes.
- Remove bagels and place on a plate for 5 minutes.
- Heat a 12 inch non-stick skillet over medium heat. Melt butter and add the bagels.
- Flip after 3-4 minutes, or when golden brown.
- Cook another 3-4 minutes on the 2nd side.
- To serve, top with cream cheese and syrup.
