Baked Egg & Asparagus Crescent Squares

These crescent squares are a quick and easy meal that’s great for any time of the day. Feel free to change up the toppings mix things up a bit.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 4 eggs
  • 8 asparagus spears tough ends snapped off
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Parmesan cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Separate the crescent rolls into 4 squares and press together the seams. Press the dough to create a ridge around each rectangle Crack an eggs onto each rectangle. Place 2 asparagus spears onto each rectangle. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Add a generous grating of parmesan cheese.
  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the whites are set and the yolks are cooked to your liking. Serve immediately.
