Smoked salt is a great way to add some smoky flavor without getting out the grill or the smoker.

Ingredients
  

  • Kosher salt
  • Wood chips for smoking

Method
 

  1. Pour the salt into single use aluminum containers, in relatively thin layers about a ½ inch or so.
  2. Smoke until it turns a nice golden-smoky color, about 18 hours.
